We are Duo Altiler and we are passionate about the repertoire for violin and piano.
Our collaboration as a duo offers the opportunity to bring two very different instruments together into a harmonious and colourful whole. Both instruments have enormous possibilities in terms of virtuosity, dynamics and timbre. Their combination creates an inexhaustible musical richness. The direct exchange between our two personalities creates a close bond with our audience, and our individual perspectives give chamber music a fresh, new approach.
We are drawn to music with a strong expression, which makes the listener escape the everyday. For us, this translates into the works of composers such as Bartók, Beethoven, Ravel, Messiaen… We feel that this music is closer to the deep layers of our mind and subconscious.
